In 2016, we produced two full-length main stage productions and started our “New Works Reading Series”, where we produce staged readings of developmental playwrights’ new works, and that was just our FIRST SEASON! We love bringing fun, thought-provoking theater to a contemporary audience
New Wave Theater Collective celebrates World Pride with 2019's SECOND INSTALLMENT of quarterly mixed media short play festivals, where writers collaborate with illustrators to inspire new work. Our playwrights have been given a series of illustrations, donated to us by four different LGBTQIA artists. They have been asked to choose ONE and pen and brand new short play based on the artwork

When the help of a medium is sought out to solve a murder, and the victim speaks from the dead, a community descends into chaos. A local Pittsburgh man struggles with guilt and must choose between revenge and redemption. "The Mon Valley Medium" is a darkly comedic murder mystery set in a neighborhood nestled in the hills of the Mon Valley.
